by Geoff Aylmer

Geoff Aylmer is an IT manager who lives in West Riverdale, Tasmania. His first experience with depression was back in 1984 and completely unexpected. He was ambushed as it were, by an insidious and debilitating disorder he knew little about. Since then, and after several more episodes, Geoff learned a great deal about depression and how to survive it. This book is a chronicle of his experience and a document as to how he approached and overcame the illness. Every person's experience is different, but Geoff has methodically researched and presented his ideas so that other sufferers can benefit from his methods and success.

The book is short, concise and written without medical jargon, so that readers can learn step by step, how Geoff has dealt with his depression.

Dragon... My Tale is a valuable handbook for anyone touched by depression.

Rating:
I found this book to be an excellent read. Being a depression sufferer myself, I found the story to be well written in terms easy to understand and
read. Many books on this topic are filled with medical jargon and useless information, however this book is practical and would appeal to the general
public, of all ages. Filled with laughter, emotion, honesty and some extremely handy hints, I give this book 10/10, recommended to anyone suffering
from depression themselves, or related to a sufferer of depression.

I found this book to be a great help,
and Geoff has put it in a way that is easy to follow and gets to the point. My wife has bipolar and she says it has helped her and pushed her to seek
help and ask more of her counsellor.

I picked the book up and kept reading until I had finished it. It's a
book that I would recommend to others suffering from depression, anxiety or stress disorders. I congratulate Geoff on his approach to dealing with his
depression.
