'Voyages to Vietnam' is a companion volume to the highly successful My Vietnam. Containing over 600 colour and black and white photographs, it has successfully captured a stellar period in Australian naval history, one which will never be repeated. Few realise that 21 Australian naval vessels served during the Vietnam conflict. Four destroyers served with distinction alongside their US counterparts on the 'gunline'. HMAS Sydney made 24 trips to Vietnam, carrying troops and vital supplies such as vehicles, artillery and munitions. A plethora of vessels, now all sadly gone, performed escort duties to the Sydney and the supply vessel Jeparit.

The Royal Australian Navy Helicopter Flight (the EMUs) were amongst the most highly decorated of all Australian service personnel in the conflict, and eight Clearance Diving Teams served as well.'

Voyages to Vietnam' contains, amongst other things, imagery of Asian ports, equator crossings and Melbourne Cup Day celebrations and is a true snapshot of a long gone era.
