Law students study constitutional law in introductory law courses as well as public law courses on constitutional law, administrative law and human rights.

The aim of this book is to provide an array of exercises that assist students in understanding the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia. These involve touring the Constitution to find sections on specific subjects; analysing sections into elements and consequences; identifying ambiguity in some provisions and answering problem questions both small and large. The book provides suggested answers to these questions to give students some feedback, but not answers to the large problem question.
